Cross Country.

On Thursday we had a nice day we even had a special cross country too.On that day we have to bring our house colour too when we had cross country we had to get change in the toilet and then wait until the bell ring for cross country.The reason why we had cross country it because it was for our school fun run.When the second bell rang we had to line up and go down to the courts when we were at the courts it was the 5 year old boys first they had to run first because they are the littlest one.When they have to run it has to go from 5 year old to the 13 year old.When we had to wait for ages we were hot and gasping for air and it even looked like that we were baking in the hot sun. When it was our turn i said to Kaitlynn “Finally it is our turn Kaitlynn”.When it was our turn we had to walk in the line and stand behind it and when Mr Burt say’s in your marks we have to put our feet together and when he says get set one foot has to be at the back and one at the front and when he says Go we had to run as fast as we can.We had to follow the cones and on the cones there are Tamaki college kids that has to help us when we stop.When we were near the finished line we ran as fast as we can through the senior park and the finish line was their.The first person was Seine the second one is Quinlyn and the third one is Melenoa and i came fifth. When cross country was starting i felt very exciting and when it was the year 5 girls next i was nervous.I enjoyed running because it makes me get fit.I didn't enjoy running in the mud because it was icky and sticky.When it is the next cross country i really want to come first second or third.
