Maths Test

In the morning on Wednesday the Yrs 7/8 had a maths test. My maths class room 4 was pretty nervous I'll say, I was nervous too but excited at the same time. We only had 10 minutes left until we start the test we all got our papers, pencils and chrome books ready. It was 9.28 we had 2 minutes left until it will go silence. "3, 2, 1" said Mrs Tele' I went off and clicked start test.After a few minutes the questions went easy to hard to extreme hard, at first I really thought this was going to be ok but when I got to the harder questions I wasn't doing well I had to get out my Pencil and paper and start solving. 

We only had 32 minutes left and I was on question 28 I didn't know what to do but just sit and think what the answer was, I skipped that question and went to the other I needed another paper because it was full of scribbles because I didn't know what to do. Suddenly something just popped in my head I wrote it down and all I had to do is divide the number and than multiply it. I was really forsure that it was right but I had a go.

It was going to an end, "12 minutes left" said matua lewin, I went to question to question it went hard but at the same time I could get the answer. I was upto questoion 40 I only had 1 more to do and it was pretty easy it said What is 3/4 and it showed different types of answers and options. It was really easy and I skipped off to the last question 5 minutes left on the clock. I didn't know the acuall answer to the question I had to think and write it on paper, I still didnt get it and I was still thinking "This is too hard" I said to Matua lewin, He wouldn't help me but game me some advice he just said "Remember on what we worked on Numberlines, Decimals, Dividing, Multiply, Subtraction and addition now its your time to think" I said ok and I dicided to use my doubles and split by using 2 ways. 

Tic toc it was the only thing that I had in my head Time was going fast 2 minutes left I hurried myself and quickly had an answer in my head "Should I" I was thinking if it was or not Hmmmm. Only 50 seconds left I clicked it and pressed DONE I was pretty proud of myself that I got to finish the test. We had only had a few seconds to rest our fingers,  the boys collected our scrap of paper "and we are done" said matua lewin.

During the test as I said I was pretty nervous I didn;t know if I could do it or not but I just had to so that I can get a better report. I didn't know what to do but just think, at the end I was still nervous because I don;t know if the results will be bad or good. But overall I enjoyed the test and also enjoyed solving them by paper which is pretty weird. 

Four Fours challenge

Room 4 maths class had made a presentation about the Four Fours Challenge. How do you play this type of game? All you do is roll the dice and try and make the number for an example I have to try and make the number 15 and you just keep rolling the dice and keep scoring your self. So if I roll the dice and it lands to the number 4 I have to write that number and have to keep rolling until you fill in the boxes, once you are finish add it up and put down your Closest Target. What did I participated in?

Moo Juicers: In term 1 I applied to be a Moo jucier. What do you do? in moo juicers you hand out milk around the whole school and the most disgusting part is that you have to do the milk bins which smells and leaks if you drag it on the floor.

Netball: The last 4 years I playes netball with my close friends Khaia, Ariana, Lucy, Taunese, Liz U, Jessica, Mele, Marilyn and myself. This year we all entered a competition and we have to send a Positive sidelibe behaviour video to the judges. So later on we heard that we were in the top 2 and we had to tell people to vote for us on Facebook. My dad found out that we won the competition and we won a big prise. We got to go to the sky city hotel and stay over for 1 night, we got to have dinner at Andy's burger and bar and we also got to meet the Mystics netball team which was pretty exciting for us all.

Mix Netball: In term 3 we had a mix tournament of netball. We were in the A team which was hard because we were playing against the other schools. The boys and girls that was in my team was Temauri, Khaia, Taimana, Rose, Liz U, Taunese, Alfa, Owen and myself. Overall we won all our games and we came first place the hardest team we played was sylvia park because it was a all girls team and we all thought they cheated but atleast we came first YAY for BORORITY.

Basketball: In term 3 we had a all girls Basketball team I was picked to be in the team and when we got there we had to practice our piviting and our passing. There was the hardest team that we played but I can not remeber there school name all I could remeber is that they were sponsered by Michael jordan and the only Sport they play in there school is basketball but we were overall proud of ourselves and had a go.

Soccer:Back in term 1 I was chosen to be in the girls soccer team. I was really proud of myself that I made it in the team but at the same time I didnt know how to play and it was basicially my first time playing. During the games we lost some and won some the challenging game we had was Baradene. Atleast we tried our best and had fun.

Softball: In term 1 I was also chosen to be in the softball girls team. I can't really remeber who we played but it was pretty challenging and hard because other schools had really good pitchers and also had good catching skills. It was good playing hard ones because we can learn from them and also catch the skills of what they have been learning about.

Cross Country: Week 8 term 3 Pt england school had a Cross Country run. I was pretty nervous at times and also happy and excited. It was the yr 8's girl who had to run Mr burt snapped the snapper and there we go off sprinting. The hard thing is that we had to do 2 laps and I think it was 3 kilometers. I tried hard and came 7th place I need to work on my fitness and also keep up with my running.

Volley Ball:A few weeks ago I was chosen to be in the girls Volley ball team. I was pretty excited and less nervous when we got there, we had a few runs and practices with the boys who also had a tournament. A few minutes later when we were up for our very first game I was pretty nervracking and I could feel sweat in my hands. Overall we came 1st in the tournament and also the boys which was pretty cool. I was really proud of myself and my team who tried there best and hardest, great job teams and coaches.

Barista: A few months later I have applies to be a Barista. What is a barista? a barista is something when you have to be a coffee or hot chocolate maker. It was really cool making them cause we could make them for the visitors, our students and also our office and teachers. I am so thankful that Miss Flaval chose me to be a Barista.

Algebra Variable

Today Room 4 maths class learned about Algebra Variable. What is Algebra Variable? Well what I have heard is that Algebra Variable means something that changes, e.g  5 + g = 9 so the g means 4 because
 5 + 4 = 9 so you just basically use a symbol or a letter so its really a mystery number. So here is what i have learnt and here is a presentation and please leave a comment.

Pacific Netball

On Saturday I had to wake up at 6.00 in the morning because I had a Netball tournament its not just a tournament its also a pacific cup. The countries that were paying was Samoa, Tonga, Niue, Maori, Cook island and Fiji. 

Our first game was at 9.30 and Samoa was playing against Tonga I was in the Samoan team by the way. I was really nervous at first but when we had a team talk about what really should happen actually calmed me down. I was playing WA which feeds the ball in the circle.

Overall we won our 1st game to 8-13 and our team was called Upolu Samoa. It was rally hard for me playing this year for Samoa because my mum wasn't there to watch me. But I know that she was supporting me from above and I also know that she is always in my heart and she is also very proud of me.

During the day my team won all the games some was hard and some was OK but I really enjoyed it. At the end of the day we had to stay for prize giving most of the awards went to Tonga, Cook Island and Samoa but the other teams tried there best.

"Under 13 Upolu 1st place" said the announcer we were so Happy that we came first for Samoa everyone was cheering for us and we were proud. We had to stand up and get our medals for me it felt very proud of myself because I tried my best to come first and we did YAY!. 

My dad was proud of me and I was so happy and I was even happy because Samoa took it out again this year and last year. Just like to say thanks to the couch and also the manager. 

Make Kindness Go Viral

During the holidays I have done heaps of things such as Camp, Mostly helping, cleaning, going shopping and more. Also during the holidays I helped my nana with the groceries shopping, I helped my dad with looking after my sibling and also helping out cleaning the bed rooms. What can you make kindness go viral? Well you can do heaps of things to make kindness go viral like helping people out and also using your manners where ever you go. 


This week I have been helping my nana I think I have put a smile on her face because lately she calls me her babysitter which is quite funny to me. In the holidays I prefer watching T.V and playing on my phone but sometimes you just gotta stand up and help around with your parents don't ask them if they need help, because obviously they will tell you to sit back down and do your own thing maybe just get us and help them without telling them if they need help. 


Right now I am over at my nana's soon I will help her make dinner and I know in her head she will think I am really helpful. In the past when my Aunt was taking us to the movies, I would always have a talk with mum and she would always tell me to use my manners and to always help out, because when you do people will think that your parents has taught you good manners.

Riverside Camp.

On the first week in the holidays me my sister and my brother went to riverside camp. I was really looking forward to go camp because I could see my friends and hang with them and we could also play fun activity's there. The camp was at Eastern Bay at Willow Park. 

When we went to Willow Park I had a lot of Fun and it was really cool cause we played in the foam and heaps of activity's not just boring ones but messy ones. We played Duck Duck Egg with Whip Cream and we also played Sponge game while its soaking wet. I had really fun going to camp and my team was called Sorority and it means sisters. 

One of my best highlights at camp was getting to know the leaders, Playing in the Foam, singing to God/Jesus and also playing Spotlight at night. 

Willow park was really fun and it was also my last year going to willow park. But that doesn't mean I am leaving well it means I have to be a leader next gear if I go camp. I have really enjoyed going to camp and its been my 4th year so i am looking forward on being a leader and showing the yrs 4 - 8  whats it like to be a leader and to tell information in what i experienced in the past.

On the last day when we got to school was pretty tiring  for nearly all of us because we were exhausted. I fell asleep in the bus but at the same time didn't wanna go back home because I know for a fact that there in nothing to do but Dishes, Cleaning, Watching Tv or playing on my phone. 

Well Overall I really enjoyed camping at Willow Park and I cannot wait to go next gear and also being a leader. Thanks to Haere, Mr burt, Mrs Burt, Mrs Hamilton, Mr Moran and also staff helpers for helping us and supporting us through this camp.

Reflection of Term 3

This term is nearly coming to an end, During this term I,v already made lots of great memories with my friends and teachers. It's sad to say that us yr 8's will be leaving next gear to college which will be pretty sad. When term 4 comes I would like to archive and accomplish my goals the following weeks while I am in school learning. 

I will be missing this term because already I have made so much friends and had good relationship with them. We had ups and downs but that didn't stop any of us of being friends. I think that this yr has been the best yr ever because My netball team, Sorority got to go on a trip to the sky city hotel and sleep there over night and also was invited to go to Andy's Burgers and bars after the Mystics game. 

My best memory of this term was getting to know the yr 7's and getting to go on a trip to the sky city.  This term I have made heaps of memories but most of them was laughing for no reason and just laugh about random things. Last best memory was that I get to have an opportunity to play for the A team in Netball. The funniest moments I,v experienced with my friends was when we had to make our Manaiakalani  movie we had to rush it then when we came back to class it was not that good so we had to start all over again to film but this time we were taking it easy not H and F (Hard and Fast).

This term had really helped me, next term I am going to try a lot better. My goal for next term is to archive in my subjects and to also be a good role model, So that i could be more successful in the future. This yr is the last yr for me so this means that I will try my best wait not my best my hardest to accomplish my goals. 

World war 1.

World war 1 had started on June of the 28th 1914. In the world war 1 there was over 37 million of people who died. In the war they used lots of different kind of machine guns and bombs. World war 1 was probably not available because the population of Germany was increasing rapidly, and they were running out of land.

The countries that joined the war was British Empire,Italy,France,United state's and more.When the world war 1 finished they were all happy  to come back home and meet there families.There was people who died in the world war 1 and people who had broken arms and legs.They had to use walking sticks so they could walk.It was very very sad because the people who didn't survive didn't get to meet their family ever again.

Manaikalani Film Festival 2013.

Here is a paragraph i did in class and it is all about the Manaiakalana Film Festival 2013 and guess what me and Kyan was the presenters for our class i never be the presenter befor but it is quit hard because the audeince was there if you stand up on the stage you can't see them only the chairs and the lights.Enjoy and please leave me a comment. Yesterday it was the manaiakalani Film Festival and guess what i am the presenter for our class it was me and Kyan.We had to wake up at 8.o'clock.I was at school and i went to Mrs Teleas Office and she wasn’t there so i waited and waited until i saw Kyan.We both went if she was there and she was there at her office so we practice and we had to set down and Miss Telea said to stand up in a line and check if we are tidy..So After that the First bell rang and we were leaving so we decided who we are going with and the year 5 are going with Miss Vaafusuaga


. As we arrived to Sylvia Park we got ready we were practicing.When we were practicing there was kids from other schools came inside to have a practice and my heart was beeping and when it was beeping the whole Stonefield school came and as they were in a chair we were getting started so me and Kyan was setting together and waited for our turn and as we waited the people that had a turn had to set somewhere else so that mrs Telea knows that they haven't had a turn.

 When it was our turn i couldn’t stop being shy so i did it and when you are up stage you can’t see the Audience so that you can;t be shy.So we both said our bit and then we were finished and we had to have our lunch and go back to school.Please enjoy and Bye

Athletics 2013.

On Friday the 8th of November our School Pt England had Athletics.In The morning i came inside class and i saw people wearing there house colours and the colours was Tainui Blue,Takitemu Yellow,Mataatua Green and Te Arawa red.So i went to the bathroom and i got change and my house colour was Green Mataatua so when the second bell rang our class lined up and when we lined up we went to the courts to get started when we were in the courts we had to line up like year 5 girls has to liine up on ther line and year 5 boys had to line up on ther one so we could get in order.So we were all ready and miss Vaafusuaga told us to get started so our group went to the Sprinting field and i was in the 2nd row.The first row went up as i was jumping around i heard a noise “Bang” went the clappers as Mr Burt started the race and they were runing.

 On the last bit it was high jump i went up first and it was spitting as i went we had to do the scissors and when i did it i slipped and hurt myself and i accidentally slipped on the ground and this was the funniest bit i slipped and everybody was sad and suddenly i popped up and they were cracking up.So Miss king said “That we can’t do it because it is to dangrous.So we had lunch and all the year 5 girls was disapointed because it was raining.

 My favourite thing is high jumping because it was funny and slippery.My wors one is sprinting because i was vrsing the fast people and i came 3rd but it has to be 1st and 2nd.When it was Athletics i felt very nervous but when we had to have a go i was happy and i had fun having Athletics.When it is Athletics i will have to try my best at doing high jumping because i fall over.Please leave me a comment.
