Maths Test

In the morning on Wednesday the Yrs 7/8 had a maths test. My maths class room 4 was pretty nervous I'll say, I was nervous too but excited at the same time. We only had 10 minutes left until we start the test we all got our papers, pencils and chrome books ready. It was 9.28 we had 2 minutes left until it will go silence. "3, 2, 1" said Mrs Tele' I went off and clicked start test.After a few minutes the questions went easy to hard to extreme hard, at first I really thought this was going to be ok but when I got to the harder questions I wasn't doing well I had to get out my Pencil and paper and start solving. 

We only had 32 minutes left and I was on question 28 I didn't know what to do but just sit and think what the answer was, I skipped that question and went to the other I needed another paper because it was full of scribbles because I didn't know what to do. Suddenly something just popped in my head I wrote it down and all I had to do is divide the number and than multiply it. I was really forsure that it was right but I had a go.

It was going to an end, "12 minutes left" said matua lewin, I went to question to question it went hard but at the same time I could get the answer. I was upto questoion 40 I only had 1 more to do and it was pretty easy it said What is 3/4 and it showed different types of answers and options. It was really easy and I skipped off to the last question 5 minutes left on the clock. I didn't know the acuall answer to the question I had to think and write it on paper, I still didnt get it and I was still thinking "This is too hard" I said to Matua lewin, He wouldn't help me but game me some advice he just said "Remember on what we worked on Numberlines, Decimals, Dividing, Multiply, Subtraction and addition now its your time to think" I said ok and I dicided to use my doubles and split by using 2 ways. 

Tic toc it was the only thing that I had in my head Time was going fast 2 minutes left I hurried myself and quickly had an answer in my head "Should I" I was thinking if it was or not Hmmmm. Only 50 seconds left I clicked it and pressed DONE I was pretty proud of myself that I got to finish the test. We had only had a few seconds to rest our fingers,  the boys collected our scrap of paper "and we are done" said matua lewin.

During the test as I said I was pretty nervous I didn;t know if I could do it or not but I just had to so that I can get a better report. I didn't know what to do but just think, at the end I was still nervous because I don;t know if the results will be bad or good. But overall I enjoyed the test and also enjoyed solving them by paper which is pretty weird.

How to be a Good or Successful Pt Englander.

Hello everybody my literacy class, class 8 has been doing a practice test because our test is coming up tomorrow yes tomorrow witch is October the 29th 2014. So I hope you enjoy and please leave me a comment.

Do you wanna be a successful Pt Englander?

If you want to be a good Pt Englander then I’ll show you. Being a Pt Englander might be tough you have to be kind nice to your parents and be Polite.

To be a successful Pt englander you need to, remember your manners, eat healthy food and always strive to do your best.

Being a Good friend is easy. You need to respect them be kind to them and to care for them. They won’t like until you care for them. If you want a good friend that cares for you then try and be helpful to them and if they get bullied by someone go and step up for them and make sure you cheer them up.

You have to stay healthy to get fit and to run fast. If you want to be healthy be hard on fruits and eat more fruits to get fit. you even have to play more and more sports. So make sure you stay healthy and well.

Do you want people to listen to you? Well here are some things you need to do. You have to listen to them be kind and to respect them. You need to listen to the people around you like your parents, Teachers and last but not least your friends.

Being a Good and Successful Pt Englander is hard because you have to do all these things like you have to be Kind, be Nice, be Respectful and to be Polite. Polite is very important to me because you always always have to use your MANNER’S, say THANK-YOU, say EXCUSE ME and say PEOPLE’S NAMES. So remember, use all these words to help you be a good Pt Englander!

Swimming Pools.

Hello everyone here is a story about going out to the swimming pools with my cousins and Dad.

WOW! What a great day going to the GI Pools.Me my Sisters,Brothers,Cousin’s and my dad went.As we jump in the car with an excitement we drove off and went to the Pools.

When we got there we went inside and got changed into our togs and waited and waited for my Cousin and my Brother to get dressed into their togs.While we waited I was freezing cold because we had to rinse our self to get all the lotion and oil off our body.Guess what I went to the cold pools I jumped in it with happiness and as soon I got in it I was so so Freezing cold.

As I got to the cold pools I was a little little bit cold because i stayed in it for a few minutes then i got warm and started swimming all around the pools.Okay it was a bit chilly when i got out because I was gonna go to the warm and hot pool as soon I hopped in I was warm and my body was warm its like a Volcano erupted and Lava came tumbling down the pool.


So my dad yelled out “Okay kids we have 10 Minutes until we go home” and all of us was so sad because we didn't wanna go because all of us was having FUN.Then it was going on to 3.00 then my dad yelled again “KIDS ITS TIME TO GO HOME” and we ran and got changed and while we were waiting for all of my cousins,brothers and sisters getting changed we went back to the car and had ice cream.My Cousins,Sisters and Brothers were talking about there Highlight I said my highlight for today was when I was freezing cold.When we went to buy some ice cream my brother said “What a great day we had” and all of us said “OF COURSE”.Then when we got home we were all tiered and we fell asleep in the car and my dad had to wake us up.

At the GI pools I was so happy when we got their.I really enjoyed my day there and i hope for next time when I will swim I will stay in the warm pools because it was a little bit funny when I was freezing cold.

My Creative Writing.

Hello Here is a Chapter I did in class it is about this girl who LOVES making music but her Dad wants her to join something so that she could make lots and lots of friends. Becca is a girl who LOVE making music. The reason why they moved because Becca’s dad Mitchell wanted her to join something instead of staying home making music and watching TV. Becca went around the Motel and was checking things out.


These girls named Abbey and Chloe was looking for some girls if they could join the Baden Bella group. So they went to look around and found Becca walking they said “ Hey do you wanna join our Baden Bella group” “oh now you are asking me I don’t wanna I mean it seems LAME because you guys do the same dance every year and everyday so NO’’ said Becca in a grumpy voice. After a few days they had a singing competition who will be in the Barden Bella group or in the Troublemaker group. There was lots and lots of students there so they had to take half of them. The first song they were singing was could ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM by Carly Rae Jepsen.

Orienteering.

Here is a story about orienteering Rm 13 was playing it around the whole school please leave me a comment enjoy.Thank you Today room 13 went to orienteering.Our teacher was a reliever and it was Miss Maude she took us to orienteering and she said to get in partners and my partner was Katareina me and Katareina had to go to our teacher and get the Map and the paper where you have to stamp it.So our teacher told us to go and where to start we started on the letter L we were looking for the letter L so we looked everywhere and me and Katareina was so tierd because we ran everywhere so i said “Hey Kat is that the letter L” and she said “Yes i think so” so we went a bit closer and YAS as we shouted we were jumping and we had to find another letter and it was the letter P we looked and we saw it. It was near the boys toilet and we stamped it.The next letter we had to find was M we went where the hall is and then we looked at the map again and the map said that it is where room 14 is so we went there and it was where the garden is we did it and we were finished.Me and Katareina was finished and once we are finished we had to give the paper and the map to her and we had another thing to do we had to do the second one we had another map but not the paper because the paper was full so we had to find the letter A B C D we found all of them fast so we were finished but we were the last one but it is ok to be last plus it is your first time to play orienteering..Thanks for reading this please leave me a comment enjoy.

Persuasive argument.

Here is a Persuasive argument that i did in class please enjoy and please leave me a comment. In my opinion we shouldn’t have school on Monday to Thursday because if Friday is part of the weekends then we won’t be able to learn much.If we have school on Monday to Friday then kids will know better at stuff like maths reading and writing.School is for learning and thats why it is for learning not for people who be silly or playing around.Children need to learn and read a lot and the more the teachers teach kids the more they will get paid and kids will get better at doing the things that the teachers told them. Teachers need to teach kids so that they know what to do. Kids wants to play with their friends at school but it is not the right time to play during work time it is the time to work and focus a lot with your teacher.Children need more learning from the teachers ,because children that are year 5 should be in stage 6.In school your class should be quite because if the other class is working and trying to do ther work you might disturbe them. Kids should go to school from Monday to Friday because kids need to and they need to cragrat and maybe go to work get paid all the time.Kids need to learn because when they grow up they will go to college and they will start to learn better from their old school.Last but not least kids should go to school because when you read with a teacher you had to go home with a book that you read with your teacher take it home and read it to your mum or dad and once you finished you need to retell the story.

My immersion assembly.

Here is my immersion assembly hope you enjoy. On immersion assembly we had finally got to meet each other.As the bell rang i rushed in classed and we linned up and we walked down to the hall and we sat down and as we sat down team 1 came on and it was abput what does the fox say it was so funny because it had the gangnam style on there.Every body was laghing and they were finished it was team 2 team 2 was telling us that they celebrate christmas and chinese week i think.It was time for my favourite one is team three ther one is the funnyist one they were talking about pancakes and guess how many they baked and it was more then 30 i think it was 50 Noah and miss Walters were eating the pancake miss Nolder and Mrs Barkes was behind them.So the said In your marks get set go and they were eating the pancakes very hard and they rushed eating it.Noah had cream on his face and he was trying to lick it.It was time for our one team 4 they were sinigt the song could i’m farmimng and i know it was so funny and cool every body was laghing and it was helirious.

Hi my name is Rowana and today i am going to talk about Sky-ping because i was talking to my friend in Australia.When i was talking to him first i had to get my chrome book and write some good answer's for him.The first thing i said is "Hi Daniel how are you today" and he said "Hi Rowana i am good thank you" and we both said some questions and guess what Daniel said that in Australia it is so Wendy and trees are blowing off.The first questions i asked is What is your favorite color and why and i think he said green because it is the color of the beautiful grass and he said the same thing and i replied back my one is blue because it is the color of the sky and it sometimes makes me feel calm.When he was talking to me i saw his face and he saw mine when he saw mine he said that i looked beautiful and i said to him that he looks cool.Please leave me a comment and i hope you enjoy and read it.

Debating

Last few weeks kiwi fruits were learning about debating.A debate is a form of argument it is not a mean one it is a kind form of argument.The statement was Point england should not wear school uniforms.I was in the Against team and the other team is For that means that Against should say that point englander should wear uniform and team for means that they should say No point england should not wear uniforms.There has to be 5 or 6 kids in your group.I was the first speaker and my ideas was I believe that point england school should not wear mufti because people will jealous and then they will cause a fight by saying “You look ugly” People will recognize that which school you are in because you can wear your uniform and the reason why you wear uniform because you need to wear it with pride.Wear it with pride means being tidy and if you wear flashy clothes then someone like a stranger will ask for it and steal it.While debating,i felt nervous but when i said my ideas i felt proud of myself and when you do you say you're debating in front of your class just do it and be happy because when i first did it i was not shy.As we finished our Debating we had to have a vote and when we did our vote it was a draw and then Miss Lavakula said that “Only one person in your group that has to say it” and the person was Jalen when jalen said it to the Audiance the audiance was thinking and when miss lavakula said “who do you guys vote for now” and the audiance put ther hands up for Against and there was only 1 girl who put her hand up for for team.So after when they were voting the team who won was the Against team so we won and the Against team were very proud of them selves.Please leave me a comment .

Esther continued.............

Today in class we had C.R.E.The story was about Esther , King Xerxes and Mordecai. Queen Esther was King Xerxes new queen and wife Mordecai was queen Esthers cousin. Mordecai and Esther  was Jew they worshiped Jesus and Mordecai told Esther not to tell anyone .There were two guards they were talking about king Xerxes and Mordecai heard them and told queen Esther about them.
