Today Ms Kyla came in to our Maths class room 4, she came and talked to us about the 3P's. 3P's stands for Partnership, Participation and Protection. Reading Maps.

Hello everyone here is a picture we did in class with our reliever teacher Miss Jamali. In class we have been learning to read a map on our sheets.In Class I didn't know how to use Map's but now I know how to read a map and I have learnt to give symbols on a map that Miss Jamali told us. How do we stay safe from the Sun.

Hello everybody here is a story about How do we stay safe from the sun. Please leave a  comment.

It is very important to keep away from the sun because you might get Skin Cancer and you might get Sun burnt. Too much sun and heat could make you feel terrible. So You need to put on sunscreen then You need to stay under the shade if you don’t have any sunscreen and last but not least you need to keep away from the sun because it is too bright that you might get blind.

First thing that you need to stay safe in the sun is that you need to cover yourself with clothing. If you are going out somewhere while the sun is still shining out then you need to wear a hat so that you won’t be getting skin cancer. If you wear a hat that doesn’t cover your neck then the sun is gonna go through your skin and you will get sunburnt and you don’t want that to happen to your skin.

Why do you have to wear sunscreen?

The reason why you have to wear sunscreen is that you won’t get sunburn and plus if you wear shorts and singlets you need to cover yourself with sunscreen on so that you won’t get any darker. There is lots of different kinds of sunscreens like Skin protections and Waterproof so that you can swim in the water. When you wear sunscreen and you sit down on the sand then you will have sand everywhere because you have sunscreen on.

Why do you have to wear sunglasses?

You need to wear sunglasses because you have to cover your eyes. Sunglasses could probably protect your eyes from the sun. If you have no sunglasses and you stare at the sun too much then you are  going to be blind. Wearing sunglasses is important because you have to cover your eyes.

It is very important staying safe in the sun. You need to have these things to keep you safe some Sunscreen, Hat and Sunglasses. Make sure you use these things because these are the things that you guys need when you go out somewhere hot and sunny if you don’t then stay in the shade because you might get skin cancer and sunburn.

The 1800.

Swimming Pools.

Hello everyone here is a story about going out to the swimming pools with my cousins and Dad.

WOW! What a great day going to the GI Pools.Me my Sisters,Brothers,Cousin’s and my dad went.As we jump in the car with an excitement we drove off and went to the Pools.

When we got there we went inside and got changed into our togs and waited and waited for my Cousin and my Brother to get dressed into their togs.While we waited I was freezing cold because we had to rinse our self to get all the lotion and oil off our body.Guess what I went to the cold pools I jumped in it with happiness and as soon I got in it I was so so Freezing cold.

As I got to the cold pools I was a little little bit cold because i stayed in it for a few minutes then i got warm and started swimming all around the pools.Okay it was a bit chilly when i got out because I was gonna go to the warm and hot pool as soon I hopped in I was warm and my body was warm its like a Volcano erupted and Lava came tumbling down the pool.


So my dad yelled out “Okay kids we have 10 Minutes until we go home” and all of us was so sad because we didn't wanna go because all of us was having FUN.Then it was going on to 3.00 then my dad yelled again “KIDS ITS TIME TO GO HOME” and we ran and got changed and while we were waiting for all of my cousins,brothers and sisters getting changed we went back to the car and had ice cream.My Cousins,Sisters and Brothers were talking about there Highlight I said my highlight for today was when I was freezing cold.When we went to buy some ice cream my brother said “What a great day we had” and all of us said “OF COURSE”.Then when we got home we were all tiered and we fell asleep in the car and my dad had to wake us up.

At the GI pools I was so happy when we got their.I really enjoyed my day there and i hope for next time when I will swim I will stay in the warm pools because it was a little bit funny when I was freezing cold.

The Museum Trip.

Hello everybody here is a story I wrote about the Museum. It was so so cool. My favorite part is when we went inside the Marae. Anyways I hope you enjoy and please leave me a comment Thank you  and enjoy oh and here is a Picture of the Museum.


Wow! What a wonderful day "I said shouting to my friends." It was time for us to go to the Museum trip. Me and my partner Jessica has to share 1 bag with our lunches in it. "O.M.G I can not wait to go to the Museum" Yelled Jessica. As we got outside we were ready to go inside the buses there were 2 buses. It was so so cool because when we arrived to the Museum it was BIG and large. Inside the Museum there were lots of different kind of creatures there. The first thing we did is that we went to the Marae. Stevenson was our leader he had to say the things like saying Thank you.He said "I would like to say thank you for letting us come to the Museum and we really like it here it is so cool."


So the first thing we did we went to the Marae. It is so cool because there was lots and lots of Carving there and Green Stones witch is called (Pounamu). In the Marae we had to take off our shoes so that it won't be muddy. In the Marae we had to get into 2 groups it was class 7  and class 6 class 7 had to talk about the FOOD they used to eat and class 6 has to do the same.

After that we had to show each other a HAKA. Class 6 has to do a Haka to but they decided to do it with us and so we did it, It was the letter's like A.E.I.O.U AA EE II OO and UU. On the last haka we said PUKANA Yelled class 6 and 7.So after that we had to have our lunch then we got to have free time like we got to look at everything that is there. Well it was so so cool at the Museum I had alot of time.


One day when I go to the Museum with my Family I will go to the Marae first then the Animal.It was so so cool at the Museum it was so so FUN!!! I think that it was the coolest trip I have ever been to.

Very Busy DAY.

Hello Everybody here is a story what I did. This is about what I did in that day. It was a very very bust day. anyway's I hope you enjoy and please leave me a comment thank-you enjoy reading this.

WOW! that’s a long day. Me and my friends had to do too many busy things on Thursday the 11th of September 2014. First at school we had Cross country, Cross country is fundraising things that you need to by. Then we had our Netball game then we had our school Netball Prize Giving. “GOSH that’s a tough day” I said “I know” replied Taunese. So as we were playing our first Netball game we were Versing probably the Mix Team. They were pretty tough but we all did a lot of improving.

After our Netball game we rushed to the toilets and got changed for Prize giving. It was so so sour walking everywhere getting things. My legs was exhausted because it felt like I had a broken leg and I couldn't walk. As we got to school me and my mates just got to school in time for DINNER “Mmm” I said. We were so so excited that we are gonna go up the stage. So it was the year 6 SORORITY team. “Come up come up” yelled Miss Va'afusuaga. As we got up the stage we were so proud that we got certificates. I was so so proud of myself that I was playing NETBALL.  

My Favorite sports is netball. My goal for the whole year is to never ever give up as playing netball. Oh and remember CHAMPIONS NEVER GIVE UP. This means that you should never give up of anything that you are going to join okay.

My Samoan Narrative Writing.

Once upon a time 4 people  traveled to Samoa.they went to stay there for a month because they wanted to visit people and to have fun in the holidays.The 4 people was Ashley, Rowana, Elizabeth and Taunese.  Ashley was the mean and the bossy one of all, Elizabeth is a nerd and smart, Rowana is fun and girly and Taunese is stupid and doesn't know how to sing ABC.

On their first day in Samoa they went off going for a bike ride. Elizabeth went for a bike ride by herself because she thinks that she could look after her own self.She went for a ride at the rocky cliff. She nearly fell but she was holding on to her bike and her bike was holding on to the tree. Elizabeth tried to get up because her hands were too sweaty, so she tried pulling herself up and she couldn't so she let go of the handle of the bike and rolled down like a ball, down she went. “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh as Elizabeth was rolling down” she was so scared that she might fall on a hard concrete and hurt herself. But lucky she landed on the soft sand at the beach.

When Elizabeth landed on the soft sand she got up and said “Where am I, what happened.” “Oh that’s right I fell off the cliff and started rolling down.” Elizabeth couldn't walk she tried getting up but she couldn’t so she crawled all the way back to where we live.As Elizabeth got home Ashley came up to her and said “Eww why are you here” “I fell off a cliff” said Elizabeth. “Well you better go and wash your body off or else you will STINK for ever Hahahaha HA”. Elizabeth felt sad and said to herself “Do I really smell” and she sniffed her T-shirt and it really does smells.

On their last day they went to the beach. Taunese said “ Can I go for a swim” and Rowana said “Sure go ahead” and so Taunese jumped in the water with some excitement and started splashing the water. “SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH!” said Taunese. As Rowana, Elizabeth and Ashley was watching Taunese swim they all started jumping in the sea because they wanted to have fun. While they were having a swim Ashley the mean one was starting to get nicer and nicer because she felt sad from all the things that she said to the others. So Ashley went to have fun with them and said “I am so sorry for what I did and for calling you guys names, do you forgive me” and Taunese said “Yes we do” now lets go and have some FUN!! said Rowana.

So they went back to NZ.They had lots and lots of Fun in Samoa. Hey I got a Question have you ever been to Samoa?. Leave a comment if you have, and tell me what you did over there.

Hello Here is a Animation that my reading group has to do.There was a girl name Lauren she saw a group of team playing shot put.Lauren was the tallest one on the team but the rest were small.Lauren was freaking out because it was her turn she threw the ball as far as she can and it landed far where she couldn't see it.Lauren started walking because she thought that she came last but she heard the beeping noise and it said "Lauren Lauren you have won the gold medal" Lauren looked back and saw people cheering for her.She was so so surprised and proud of her self that she came first.YAY for Lauren. World war 1.

World war 1 had started on June of the 28th 1914. In the world war 1 there was over 37 million of people who died. In the war they used lots of different kind of machine guns and bombs. World war 1 was probably not available because the population of Germany was increasing rapidly, and they were running out of land.

The countries that joined the war was British Empire,Italy,France,United state's and more.When the world war 1 finished they were all happy  to come back home and meet there families.There was people who died in the world war 1 and people who had broken arms and legs.They had to use walking sticks so they could walk.It was very very sad because the people who didn't survive didn't get to meet their family ever again.

Athletics 2013.

On Friday the 8th of November our School Pt England had Athletics.In The morning i came inside class and i saw people wearing there house colours and the colours was Tainui Blue,Takitemu Yellow,Mataatua Green and Te Arawa red.So i went to the bathroom and i got change and my house colour was Green Mataatua so when the second bell rang our class lined up and when we lined up we went to the courts to get started when we were in the courts we had to line up like year 5 girls has to liine up on ther line and year 5 boys had to line up on ther one so we could get in order.So we were all ready and miss Vaafusuaga told us to get started so our group went to the Sprinting field and i was in the 2nd row.The first row went up as i was jumping around i heard a noise “Bang” went the clappers as Mr Burt started the race and they were runing.

 On the last bit it was high jump i went up first and it was spitting as i went we had to do the scissors and when i did it i slipped and hurt myself and i accidentally slipped on the ground and this was the funniest bit i slipped and everybody was sad and suddenly i popped up and they were cracking up.So Miss king said “That we can’t do it because it is to dangrous.So we had lunch and all the year 5 girls was disapointed because it was raining.

 My favourite thing is high jumping because it was funny and slippery.My wors one is sprinting because i was vrsing the fast people and i came 3rd but it has to be 1st and 2nd.When it was Athletics i felt very nervous but when we had to have a go i was happy and i had fun having Athletics.When it is Athletics i will have to try my best at doing high jumping because i fall over.Please leave me a comment.

The bear next door.

Today in room 13 we had a reliever and it was miss Maude.When the second bell ring we all went inside the classroom and we sat down the mat and miss Maude was reading us a book and it was could The bear in the room next door.When room 13 was ready miss mored was reading it and it was about this boy named Josh he was asleep and he kept on hearing noises about the bear.When he went to sleep he kept on hearing noises like snoring and strange noises.So josh went back to sleep and he tied two pillows on his legs just in cast so he went in the room and he looked in side and no one was there.So then he grabbed a backet of blackpaint and he coverd it on himselves on his legs arm and face. So he sneeked in his perents room and he jumed in their room and he never saw anything so he woked up his perents and they told josh to go to sleep so then he went to his room and he had a bowl of honey and he had a full hand of honey and scrubed himself of honey.So he went under his perents bed so that the bear can smell the honey.When he went under the bed he jumed out and he went on the bed and he saw a shadow and we were thinking that it was josh.So he tied the chocolate on the string so that the bear can follow te small and eat it.So he crawld down the bed and put the choclate on the side of the bed and waited and waited until he heard a noise he pulled the string and the choclate was gon he jumped out of the bed and he quickly ran and tried to catch the bear but he missed.

Rugby Certificate.

Here is a picture of my certificate the reason why i got it because i was playing rugby and we won the hole game but the first game we played was ripper and we got a try. It was a tie so then we played different games and we all got in groups like for an example we go to ripper and the other teams goes to rugby so i went to ripper and i keep on getting the ball and every time i get the ball i always get tagged.It was very fun and it is good to play rugby because when you grow up imagine that you are a great player.Please leave me a comment.ENJOY

Today in class we had C.R.E.The story was about Esther , King Xerxes and Mordecai. Queen Esther was King Xerxes new queen and wife Mordecai was queen Esthers cousin. Mordecai and Esther  was Jew they worshiped Jesus and Mordecai told Esther not to tell anyone .There were two guards they were talking about king Xerxes and Mordecai heard them and told queen Esther about them.

Today in C.R.E Mrs Clark told us a story about Esther. There was a king called Xerxes and he ruled the Persian empire he lived in a place with his wife queen Vashti.King told queen Vashti to show off but queen Vashti said "No".So king Xerxes told his fried's what he should do and they said to him for her to go so she went.King Xerxes said hat he was feeling so lonely so his friends to have a beauty contest.Please leave me a comment.Enjoy

Today in C.R.E we learned about showing love to everyone even when it's hard.We learned and sang a song today too.I find it easy to love people when they.... are kind and respectful to me.

My Easter Break.

On my Easter Break I went to a party. We played a game called Easter egg hunt and when we started the game I had to hide the Easter eggs because it was my idea. All of the kids were closing their eyes so they don’t cheat. When I was hiding the Easter eggs, I was counting them and there was 20. I hid them in the garden, inside the mailbox and under the car and even inside my shoes. When i finished hiding them i said in your marks get set go and i was shouting  to the kids and they were racing to look for some Easter eggs and my little cousin found one inside the mailbox and he ate it. i was laughing because he had chocolate all over his mouth.

Then the next game we played was called throwing Easter eggs. This is how you play it, they has to be 30 Easter eggs in each box and 10 people in each team and one person has to be the umpire so they don’t cheat. when they were ready to play they have to pick up one Easter egg at a time and then we throw it at each other and whoever finished  there Easter eggs were the winner and they get to eat all of the Easter eggs.

when we finish our game, we have to go to our Nana's house and say happy Easter to all of them and we went to go say happy Easter to our whole family and give them some Easter eggs too and they said that they all enjoyed it.
